OSMOSIS - an exhibition to showcase collaborative paintings by A&J on nature in abstract form. A&J is the acronym for Alfred Yeoh and Jeff Jansen. Both are artists and the gallery owners.
Collaborative paintings are rarely seen as most artists prefer to work alone in their own creative style. Collaboration requires artists to coordinate the time and place to merge their individual painting style onto one canvas.
Alfred and Jeff share a studio with separate working spaces. With this convenience they are able to comment on each other's artwork with the idea of improving each piece. “Sometimes we work on each other's artwork and surprisingly both our painting styles blend well to become a new form of art”. That’s how Alfred and Jeff started their collaborative relationship and decided to sign their creations A&J for recognition.
Jeff mainly works on a Nature's theme with his bold and free brushstrokes. He has a keen sense of colour and depth. Alfred paints abstracts and figurative works with a composition designed to capture a mood. You will find these elements working well on their collaboration pieces.
Collector’s Collection is a concept that provides a platform for collectors to share their collections with art lovers. This is also to encourage new collectors to join us in elevating the value of art and art appreciation together. There are much more advantages in this program..
