As a landscape designer making a change-over into becoming an artist, Jeff Jansen may be a late starter but there is nothing amateurish about his work! Like many artists, he has not been able to pursue his choice of career but time has not eroded his talent even though he has not been painting for many years.

He has chosen to paint a subject close to his heart. Many years of observing Nature and landscapes in his previous profession has made him more sensitive to the colours, forms and depth in his surroundings. With the adage “Nature does not create straight lines” in mind, his compositions are free and spontaneous swirls of colour layered, with an innate instinct, to create deep and interesting artworks.

Jeff has participated in a few group exhibitions. This will be his first solo and it, with the 29 pieces on show, will mark a new milestone in his life.
